Institutional Relations
Piattaforma Moda ETS builds up relations with the Ministries of Public Education and Labour and with the competent council offices in Municipalities, Provinces and Regions and with professional trade unions in order to obtain the acknowledgment of the study certificates issued by its partners, create a welcome policy for foreign students, obtain financial support for development and research projects and, in general, act as a joint between the educational and professional worlds.
International Relations
Piattaforma Moda ETS develops relations with educational institutes and associations that represent the fashion industry, such as the British Fashion Colleges Council, the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture or the Council of Fashion Designers of America, with the Italian representative offices abroad, with the main foreign fashion schools and universities and in general with public and private institutions that can contribute to the promotion of the Italian fashion education system, promote student exchange and comparison between different educational systems.
Member schools’ Alumni enhancement
Piattaforma Moda ETS enhances young talents trained by the member schools, promoting or participating in events and initiatives that communicate the high quality level of graduate students and collaborates with the Placement services of the member schools in the organization of initiatives and tools to facilitate the meeting between alumni coming out of schools and companies of the fashion system.
Fashion System Professions’ Enhancement
Piattaforma Moda ETS promotes initiatives that support students’ orientation and placement, according to the actual needs of the Italian companies. Piattaforma Moda promotes the alignment of the educational offer of the member schools with the market requests and promotes the knowledge of all the professional roles of the fashion system, even those less known, making visible professions for which there is a strong market demand but little supply out of schools.
Research & Analysis
Piattaforma Moda ETS promotes an observatory that analyses national and foreign fashion educational worlds, from a quantitative and qualitative point of view. It issues yearly field researches and provides data upon request and upon approval of the Board of Directors.
Services to Students
Piattaforma Moda ETS coordinates and promotes initiatives to help foreign students come to Italy and stay, by developing relations with the competent institutional bodies and by creating social occasions and promoting cultural events in town.
