Fondazione Fashion Research Italy

Fashion Research Italy is a non profit foundation founded in 2015 by Cav.Alberto Masotti – former owner of the company La Perla. An educational, exhibiting and archival hub devoted to training of fashion professionals, enhancing the heritage of Made in Italy.

The FRI Foundation provides an educational offer linked to the market demand, structured with masters and courses for graduates who wish to specialise in this industry and different opportunities of further training for the specialists in the sector.

From Fashion E-Commerce Management, a course about  the dynamics of creation, management and development of a digital boutique, fundamental touchpoint in the phygital era, to Green Fashion, an educational path which takes into account the actionable needs in order to implement an eco-friendly business plan. Fashion Archives, in addition to those just above, are instead designed as different training appointments about the valorization of businesses’ know-how.

Moreover, for the students, it’s available a library of 5,000 books as a creative inspiration and a textile design archive, totally digitalised, made up of 30,000 designs realised by international design studios for fashion collections of the greatest maison. 

An heritage of textile art also open to design departments, soon enriched by a subdivision of eco-friendly and certified materials in order to accompany the fashion supply through its green turning-point.
