Accademia del Lusso is an Italian school of higher education, specialising in the preparation of creative and managerial profiles for the fashion and luxury sectors. Its registered office is in Milan at via Montenapoleone 5; the other three course venues are in Milan at via privata Choggia 2/4 and in Rome at Piazza di Spagna 9 and at via Matera 18.
The aim of the Accademia, since its opening in 2005, is to provide an adequate theoretical/practical basic training in the artistic sectors of design and fashion, in order to be able to operate in the various districts related to the world of fashion, from the conception of the product to its realisation and diffusion.
Students are provided with the methodological and critical tools of a historical-artistic, psycho-sociological, aesthetic, legal and managerial nature related to the acquisition of skills in the various expressive languages.
The Accademia’s objective is to prepare students to deal with innovations and dynamics in the various sectors of design, fashion understood in the broadest sense, preparing them to face cultural, technological, productive problems and stimulating their creativity, both communicative and ideational, with a view to their insertion in editorial or industrial realities linked to the field of fashion and/or design.
To this end, the school combines specific skills with a good general artistic preparation and provides the basic tools necessary to design and communicate, in both traditional and more avant-garde forms, the fruits of the knowledge acquired.
The three-year Fashion Design and Fashion Styling & Communication courses are accredited by MIUR with Ministerial Decree no. 59 of 18 January 2021 and award the title of Level I Academic Diploma, equivalent to the Level I three-year degree. Each course is awarded 180 credits.
