Accademia Costume & Moda was founded in 1964 in Rome from the passion and resourcefulness of Rosana Pistolese, with the patronage of the “Ministero del Lavoro e della Provvidenza Sociale” (D.M. n. 26645/CF/1964), the Municipality of Rome, ENALC and the “Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana”.
The Accademia and its courses are developed to create a cultural platform that favors the exchange of ideas and visions between students and teachers.
In its Rome and Milan campuses, the aim is to develop the individual talent of its students, accompanying them in building their own uniqueness and creative identity. The areas of specialization are: Fashion and Costume Design; Accessories Design; Fabric Design; Knitwear Design; Fashion Communication and Art Direction; Fashion and entertainment management; Sustainability and Supply Chain.
